As an InFre® Certified Retirement Counselor® I am an investment and retirement professional who comprehend what today’s complex retirement plans and laws mean to you. I can help identify appropriate retirement strategies for your particular situation, and understand the dynamics of life changing issues. As a CRC® professional, I have met the following requirements mandated by the International Foundation for Retirement Education:
Experience:
CRC® professionals must have at least two years of relevant retirement related professional experience and completed a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university.
Examination:
CRC® professionals must demonstrate a mastery of current retirement knowledge by successfully completing the proctored CRC® examination.
Ethics:
With a CRC® professional you receive specialized advice from an experienced professional who must adhere to the CRC® code of ethics. A CRC® must pass a complete background check, including criminal records and disciplinary actions related to other licenses and certifications, and agree to provide confidential treatment of your private and personal information.
Education:
The CRC® certification carries an obligation of 15 hours of annual continuing education to help maintain current understanding and knowledge of relevant retirement planning topics. The annual education requirement is important for professionals working in a dynamic industry with constantly changing regulation, tax laws and retirement products and services.
